Hello September!!! (week of 9/2/2019)

Hello September! I hope everyone enjoyed their 3 day weekend and all students are well rested and ready for the week.

This week we will continue Objective RI1: SWBAT cite textual evidence IOT support inferences drawn from the text. We have been reading Emmett Till and this week we will complete constructive response questions where students will demonstrate inferencing skills.


This week's vocabulary words:

Predominately

Abduction

Mutilate

Empowering

Prejudice


All of these words are found in the Emmett Till article we have been reading. Please remind your child to study these words as we have a vocabulary quiz EVERY Friday.
