Welcome Back to Sylvan Hills Middle School!!!!
I am so excited about this new school year. I feel that together we are going to have one amazing year. This week was full of introductions and getting back into the swing of things after summer vacation. Each day students enter class and complete a "warm-up" activity and vocabulary exercise. On Fridays we will always have a warm-up quiz and vocabulary quiz.
We started writing narrative essays by creating a life timeline then choosing a memory from the timeline to write a narrative essay about. Check with your child to see the memory that they chose to write about. Help them with details they may have forgotten.
